Muuto

Muuto is a Copenhagen design house behind some of the most recognizable Scandinavian furniture of the last twenty years. The work is defined by clean sculptural shapes and honest materials, drawn by designers such as Iskos-Berlin, Thomas Bentzen and David Geckeler, and built for daily use in busy rooms rather than for display.

The Fiber series, designed by Iskos-Berlin in 2014, is one of the best known. Its shell is roughly 25 percent FSC certified wood fiber blended with polypropylene, molded in a single piece and offered on sled, wood, swivel and castor bases. The Nerd chair by David Geckeler and the Cover armchair by Thomas Bentzen show the other side of the brand, solid wood pieces rooted in classic Danish cabinetmaking. The Oslo and Visu lines add upholstered chairs, sofas and stools.

Our Muuto inventory is used, and it changes as new pieces arrive. Seating comes through most often, and other Muuto pieces are added as they become available.  Muuto works well in rooms where people actually spend time: break rooms, cafes, reception areas, conference rooms and breakout space.
