Steelcase Cobi Used Nickel Mesh Back Conference Chair, Green Horizontal Pattern Seat

Steelcase developed the Cobi with the London design studio PearsonLloyd, for the way people actually behave in meetings, which is to say restlessly. Steelcase built it so the chair does the adapting: the back flexes as a person leans forward or sits back, the seat responds to their weight, and nobody has to interrupt a discussion to hunt for a lever. That approach suits conference rooms, training suites, project rooms and the shared touchdown desks that sit between them.

This pre-owned Cobi has a 5024 Nickel mesh back in a light warm gray, paired with a seat in a green horizontal pattern on a platinum frame and five star caster base. The seat fabric is a woven field of short horizontal dashes in olive, sage, gray and cream laid across a green ground, a graphic pattern that keeps its look through daily use in a high traffic room. The back is a rubber based polymer mesh that flexes in all directions, and the arms are integrated into the frame as fixed arms.

What makes this chair work in a meeting room is how little it asks of anyone. There is one pneumatic height lever and nothing else to set. The back gives where a person leans, the caster base lets them roll in to the table and push away again, and the mesh keeps air moving through a long session so the chair does not get warm. The upholstered seat provides genuine cushioning for meetings that run past the hour mark. Between the light gray mesh, the platinum frame and the patterned green seat, it brings real warmth and color into a meeting room.

NOL, as defined below, warrants the above branded pre-owned chairs from nolstore.com on component parts including cylinder, mechanism, base, and caster under normal use for a period of (5) five years from the date of retail purchase by the original purchaser ("Warranty Period").

All warranties are limited to the original purchaser for normal commercial usage defined as a standard forty hours week by persons weighing 250 lbs or less unless otherwise noted in the product description (i.e. Leap Plus or Aeron size C). This warranty does not cover labor, freight or damages caused by neglect, abuse, misuse, alternations or damage caused during shipment or by fire, flood or other natural disaster.

If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, NOL will either (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished parts, or (2) exchange the product with a pre-owned product that has been manufactured from serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product if claim is made up to THIRTY (30) DAYS from original date of purchase.

NOL may request that you replace defective parts with refurbished user-installable parts that NOL provides in fulfillment of its warranty obligation. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part that has been installed in accordance with instructions provided by NOL, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or SIXTY (60) DAYS from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes NOL’s property. Parts provided by NOL in fulfillment of its warranty obligation must be used in products for which warranty service is claimed. Any defective hardware piece must be received back into warehouse before ANY replacement or refund will be issued.

This Warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of parts and/or components and applies only under conditions of normal use. Chairs are not to be used for standing upon, arms should not be sat on or used as standing support, nor must the weight loading capacity be exceeded. Any damage to castors or gas lifts due to abuse or misuse will invalidate the warranty. Arm pads are warrantied for 90 days from the original received date.

This Limited Warranty does not cover: 1) fabric or mesh; 2) defects caused by improper assembly or dis-assembly; 3) defects occurring after purchase due to product modification, intentional damage, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence or exposure to the elements; 4) cosmetic damage, 5) labor or assembly costs, 6) damage caused by a carrier or transportation of the product from one location to another, and 7) daily usage in excess of a single work shift.

Except as provided herein, NOL makes no other express or implied warranties, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. NOL is limited in its duty and shall have no liability or responsibility to the purchaser or any other person or entity with respect to any liability, loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by use of the product, including, but not limited to, any incidental or consequential damages. The warranty service we provide will only extend to our continental U.S customers (Continental U.S. does not include Puerto Rico, Guam, Alaska, or Hawaii). If you have forwarded the merchandise outside the Continental U.S. the warranty will be void. NOL uses 7-10 business day shipping with FedEx, UPS Ground or semi-truck freight.
