This pre-owned Poppin pedestal is finished in white powder coated steel with rounded vertical corners, three drawers, and slim white wire pulls on each drawer face. A keyed lock sits in the top drawer face and the Poppin wordmark is embossed into the lower drawer front. The configuration is box box file: two shallow drawers for supplies, cables, and personal items, and a deep bottom drawer sized for letter hanging folders. The file drawer is finished in white inside rather than left as bare galvanized steel. This unit sits on fixed floor feet rather than casters, so it stays where you put it.
At 20 inches deep by 16 inches wide by 24 inches high, this is a compact case that still takes full size letter files. The shallow 20 inch depth is worth noting, because it fits under benching tops and smaller desks that a standard 22 to 24 inch contract pedestal would overhang at the back.
