This is a pre-owned FireKing four drawer card and note fire file in black, a specialty cabinet built to protect index cards, note cards, checks, microfiche, and other small format records rather than letter or legal folders. FireKing builds these on the same insulated fire safe construction as its full size files, then divides the interior into four shallow drawers so small media can be organized densely and pulled quickly. They are common in medical and dental records rooms, libraries, title companies, and any office that still runs a card based index it cannot afford to lose.
This cabinet measures 25.375 inches wide by 31.5 inches deep and stands 36 inches tall, a desk height footprint that tucks under a counter or works as a work surface. The gloss black finish is clean across the top and case, the chrome exterior mounted pulls with label holders are intact on all four drawers, and the top mounted key lock secures the stack. The drawers are open and empty on this unit, with no card dividers, guides, or trays included, so plan on supplying your own inserts to suit your format.
