This round aluminum occasional table is the Paris table, designed by Barcelona architect and designer Jorge Pensi for the Spanish manufacturer Amat-3. Pensi created it for Conrado Amat of Amat-3 in the 1980s, and its metal top and sculpted four arm base give it a strong European cafe character. It works as a side table in a lobby or lounge, a small cafe table for two, or an accent table in a private office.
This pre-owned table has a 23.5 inch round metal top over a laminate core, finished with fine concentric grooves that ripple out from the center and a smooth rolled rim around the edge. The top stands 28.5 inches high on a polished aluminum column and a four arm base, with each arm curving down to a broad round foot pad.
