The Scoop stool is Steelcase Turnstone’s answer to a problem that shows up in almost every open plan office: work cafes and standing height tables need seating that is comfortable enough to hold a real conversation but light and open enough that it does not clog the floor. Scoop solves it with a dished polypropylene shell on a slim four leg steel frame, giving the sitter a genuinely shaped seat rather than the flat disc most cafe stools settle for. This pre-owned Scoop features a white molded polypropylene shell fitted with a yellow fabric seat cushion, mounted on a gray powder coated steel frame. The color pairing is the point of this configuration. A white shell keeps the piece visually light, and the yellow pad gives a room a jolt of color from a piece small enough that it never overwhelms the space. The four leg frame is tied together by a full perimeter foot bar, which is what makes a stool at this height genuinely usable.
