Steelcase Think Used Coconut Mesh Back Task Chair, Graphite Seat

The Steelcase Think has been in production since 2004 and remains one of the most widely specified ergonomic task chairs in North America. Its reputation rests on a back that does the work of adjustment for the sitter: the chair responds to weight and posture on its own before anyone reaches for a lever. Facilities teams keep coming back to it for exactly that reason, because a floor of Think chairs suits a wide range of body types right out of the box. It is a common sight in corporate offices, financial and legal practices, government agencies, universities and home workspaces.

This pre-owned Think is a V1 generation chair with a Coconut mesh back in Steelcase color 5065, a graphite fabric seat in Steelcase color 5S25, and a black frame on a black five star caster base. The knit back is translucent and stretched over a slim polymer frame, so the chair keeps a light visual profile in an open plan while still supporting the full length of the spine. Four dimensional arms adjust for height, width, depth and pad pivot, and the lumbar support slides along the back to the height the sitter wants it. The adjustable lumbar pad on this generation may be gray or black.

Behind the knit sits the detail that defines the chair: a column of flexors along the polymer spine that bend independently, letting the back shape itself across separate zones as the sitter leans, twists or settles. The seat edge carries the controls for height, seat depth, recline tension and back stop. Steelcase designed Think to come apart with common hand tools in about five minutes, and the chair carries Cradle to Cradle certification with roughly 98 percent of its weight recyclable at end of life.

NOL, as defined below, warrants the above branded pre-owned chairs from nolstore.com on component parts including cylinder, mechanism, base, and caster under normal use for a period of (5) five years from the date of retail purchase by the original purchaser ("Warranty Period").

All warranties are limited to the original purchaser for normal commercial usage defined as a standard forty hours week by persons weighing 250 lbs or less unless otherwise noted in the product description (i.e. Leap Plus or Aeron size C). This warranty does not cover labor, freight or damages caused by neglect, abuse, misuse, alternations or damage caused during shipment or by fire, flood or other natural disaster.

If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, NOL will either (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished parts, or (2) exchange the product with a pre-owned product that has been manufactured from serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product if claim is made up to THIRTY (30) DAYS from original date of purchase.

NOL may request that you replace defective parts with refurbished user-installable parts that NOL provides in fulfillment of its warranty obligation. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part that has been installed in accordance with instructions provided by NOL, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or SIXTY (60) DAYS from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes NOL’s property. Parts provided by NOL in fulfillment of its warranty obligation must be used in products for which warranty service is claimed. Any defective hardware piece must be received back into warehouse before ANY replacement or refund will be issued.

This Warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of parts and/or components and applies only under conditions of normal use. Chairs are not to be used for standing upon, arms should not be sat on or used as standing support, nor must the weight loading capacity be exceeded. Any damage to castors or gas lifts due to abuse or misuse will invalidate the warranty. Arm pads are warrantied for 90 days from the original received date.

This Limited Warranty does not cover: 1) fabric or mesh; 2) defects caused by improper assembly or dis-assembly; 3) defects occurring after purchase due to product modification, intentional damage, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence or exposure to the elements; 4) cosmetic damage, 5) labor or assembly costs, 6) damage caused by a carrier or transportation of the product from one location to another, and 7) daily usage in excess of a single work shift.

Except as provided herein, NOL makes no other express or implied warranties, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. NOL is limited in its duty and shall have no liability or responsibility to the purchaser or any other person or entity with respect to any liability, loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by use of the product, including, but not limited to, any incidental or consequential damages. The warranty service we provide will only extend to our continental U.S customers (Continental U.S. does not include Puerto Rico, Guam, Alaska, or Hawaii). If you have forwarded the merchandise outside the Continental U.S. the warranty will be void. NOL uses 7-10 business day shipping with FedEx, UPS Ground or semi-truck freight.
