SitOnIt Seating built the Focus line as its all purpose seating platform, one back and seat design carried across task chairs, stools, guest chairs and stackers so a whole floor can be furnished from a single family. The stacking version is the one that ends up in training rooms, classrooms, conference overflow, community rooms and cafeterias, because it seats people properly during a session and then stacks out of the way when the room has to become something else.
This pre-owned Focus stack chair pairs a graphite mesh back with a white vinyl seat on a platinum finished four leg frame with fixed loop arms. The back is a one piece elastomeric mesh stretched in a slim frame, so it holds a fixed lumbar curve without any padding to compress over time. The seat is a molded foam cushion wrapped in white vinyl, a coated surface that wipes clean in a room where coffee and lunch turn up.
The chair measures 20 inches deep by 23.75 inches wide by 34.25 inches high. Weight is carried on a welded steel frame with a wide leg stance for stability, and the geometry lets the chairs nest vertically so a stack stores in a fraction of the floor area of the chairs set out. The white vinyl seat against the graphite mesh gives the chair a bright, current look that reads well in a room that also has to feel welcoming, and the coated seat wipes down in seconds between sessions.
