National Office Liquidators (NOL) warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below:

The NOL cubicle warranty below only covers items from nolstore.com that are listed as being under the NOL warranty. Brands include pre-owned Herman Miller, Knoll, Steelcase, Hon, Teknion and Haworth, and new goSIT.

This warranty is given to the initial purchaser and is valid for a period of (10) ten years to the original purchaser from the purchase date. The warranty, which runs from the date of purchase covers defects in materials and craftsmanship found during standard commercial use of the products during the warranty period. Standard commercial use is defined as the proper usage by individual(s) who work an (8) eight hour, single shift work day. If a product is defective and if written notice of the defect is given to NOL within the Applicable Warranty Period, NOL at its option will either repair or replace the defective product with comparable component or product. When repairing or replacing a defective product, NOL does not guarantee matching color, grain, texture or dye lots. This warranty does not cover the cost of freight, transportation, installation or labor. NOL makes no warranty that any its products are suitable for any particular purpose and makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, other than those set forth here. In no event shall NOL be liable in either tort or contract for any loss or direct, special, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages. This warranty does not cover damage caused by transportation, labor, field service or delivery charge.

Warranty Exceptions: 

• Natural variations in wood grain, figure or the presence of character marks
• Matching of colors, grains, textures
• Changes in surface finishes due to aging or exposure to light
• Damage, marking or staining of surfaces due to contact with rubber or similar compounds
• Damage from sharp objects or imprinting from writing instruments, computer equipment or prolonged exposure to fluids or sun
• Checking or delaminating due to changes in temperature or improper care or storage
• Damage caused by misuse or improper care

NOL does not guarantee the matching of colors, grain or texture. A product will not be considered defective, and NOL will not be obligated to replace it, if it is not installed in a proper manner (i.e., product not leveled, not secured properly, etc…). Purchaser or its agent is responsible for measuring space and working with a professional installation company to ensure cubicle configuration; NOL is not responsible for layout esthetics or workflow functionality if client should forgo using a third-party professional cubicle installation company. Except as noted above, NOL makes no express or implied warranties as to any product, and in particular makes no warranty of fitness for any particular use. At NOL option, product repair and/or replacement are the customer’s exclusive remedy for any and all product defects. NOL shall not be liable for consequential, economic or incidental damages arising from any product defect.

If a frame, electrical product or electrical component (lighting excluded) defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, NOL will either (1) repair the defect at no charge, using refurbished parts, or (2) exchange the product with a product that is similar that has been manufactured from serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product.

NOL may request that you replace defective parts with refurbished user-installable parts that NOL provides in fulfillment of its warranty obligation. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part that has been installed in accordance with instructions provided by NOL, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or THIRTY (30) DAYS from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes NOL’s property. Parts provided by NOL in fulfillment of its warranty obligation must be used in products for which warranty service is claimed. Any defective hardware piece must be received back into warehouse before ANY replacement or refund will be issued. 

This Warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of parts and/or components and applies only under conditions of normal use. Cubicles are not to be used for standing upon, work surfaces should not be sat on, nor should cubicle walls be used as standing support. Any damage to frame or electrical due to abuse or misuse will invalidate the warranty. 

This Limited Warranty does not cover: 1) the purchaser's own fabric; 2) defects caused by improper assembly or dis-assembly; 3) defects occurring after purchase due to product modification, intentional damage, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence or exposure to the elements; 4) cosmetic damage, 5) labor or assembly costs, 6) damage caused by a carrier or transportation of the product from one location to another, and 7) daily usage in excess of a single work shift. 

Except as provided herein, NOL makes no other express or implied warranties, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. NOL is limited in its duty and shall have no liability or responsibility to the purchaser or any other person or entity with respect to any liability, loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by use of the product, including, but not limited to, any incidental or consequential damages. The warranty service we provide will only extend to our continental U.S customers (Continental U.S. does not include Puerto Rico, Guam, Alaska, or Hawaii). If you have forwarded the merchandise outside the Continental U.S. the warranty will be void. NOL uses 7-10 business day shipping with FedEx, UPS Ground or semi-truck freight. Delivery across continental U.S. only. (Continental U.S. does not include Puerto Rico, Guam, Alaska, or Hawaii.) 

Seller (NOL) shall not be liable under any circumstances for consequential, economic or incidental damages of any nature, including without limitation, damages for personal injury or damages to property, however occasioned, whether alleged as resulting from breach of warranty or contract by NOL or negligence of NOL or otherwise.
