Description
Krug Used Conference Chair, Black Pattern
Founded in Kitchener, Ontario in 1880, Krug has spent well over a century building wood casegoods and upholstered seating for Canadian and American offices. The company’s conference and boardroom seating is specified where a room needs to look composed and the chairs need to survive being pulled in and out several times a day. This mid back swivel chair sits in that part of the catalog: substantial enough for a long meeting, plain enough to buy in quantity.
This pre-owned Krug is covered in a black patterned fabric woven with a fine vertical line, giving the surface a subtle directional texture under a solid black tone. The back is a waisted shell that tapers at the middle and widens across the shoulders, and the seat is a deep cushioned pan. Fixed black loop arms run from the seat frame up to the back on both sides, and the chair rides on a black five star base with casters. Controls under the seat cover pneumatic height, recline tension and a recline lock that holds the back in position. The chair stands 34 to 39 inches tall.
The recline lock is the adjustment worth calling out here. Being able to fix the back upright means the chair holds its posture when someone is working at a table rather than sitting back in a discussion, so the same chair covers a working session and a presentation. Combined with the tension control and the height lever, it gives every sitter around a table enough control to get comfortable. These work well in boardrooms, conference rooms, training rooms and at private office desks.
