This pre-owned Remix side chair is upholstered in blue fabric across the seat, the back, and the full outer surround, on a black four leg frame fitted with casters so the chair rolls where it is needed. The upholstery wraps the perimeter of the shell without a break, so there is no exposed plastic edge or hard rim anywhere a person makes contact. The frame is a slim tubular steel four leg design that reads light in a room and keeps the visual weight on the upholstered shell rather than the structure underneath.
What makes Remix comfortable is the way the back is built. Pliable flexors behind the upholstery let the backrest give as the sitter leans, so a chair with no mechanism underneath still moves with the body instead of resisting it.
