Keilhauer Vanilla Used PU Leather Conference Chair, Cream
Vanilla is Keilhauer’s conference and executive seating program, and it has been one of the company’s longest running lines for a reason. The design keeps the visual mass low, with a slim upholstered back and a thin seat profile, so a full boardroom of them does not read as a wall of bulky furniture. Keilhauer aimed it at conference rooms, boardrooms, private offices and executive suites where the seating has to look considered without turning into the loudest thing in the room.
This pre-owned Vanilla is upholstered in a cream PU leather with polished aluminum loop arms and a polished aluminum five star base on casters. The back is a single clean panel with a soft crown at the top and a shallow vertical seam down the center, and the seat is a separate cushion with a rolled front edge. The arms sweep from the base of the back down and forward in one continuous polished tube, which is the detail that identifies the line at a glance. The chair adjusts from 37.5 inches to 41.5 inches overall.
The Vanilla is a working conference chair, not just a sculptural one. Pneumatic seat height adjustment, a locking recline and tilt tension control let each person set the chair for their own build, which matters in a room where a meeting can run for three hours. The five star caster base keeps people mobile around a conference table instead of scraping legs across the floor, and the fixed arms sit at a height that clears most standard conference table aprons. Keilhauer manufactures in Toronto and holds level certification under the BIFMA e3 sustainability standard across its seating lines.
