Keilhauer Vanilla Used Conference Chair, Light Gray
Vanilla is Keilhauer’s conference and executive seating program and one of the company’s longest running lines. The design deliberately keeps visual mass low, pairing a slim upholstered back with a thin seat profile so that a boardroom full of them reads as light rather than heavy. Keilhauer built it for conference rooms, boardrooms, private offices and executive suites where the seating should look deliberate without dominating the space.
This pre-owned Vanilla is upholstered in a light gray woven fabric with polished aluminum loop arms and a polished aluminum five star base on casters. The back is a single clean panel with a soft crown at the top and a shallow center seam, and the seat is a separate cushion with a rolled front edge. The arms run in one continuous polished tube from the base of the back down and forward, which is the signature detail of the line. The chair adjusts from 37.5 inches to 41.5 inches overall.
The woven light gray is a practical choice for a heavily used room. Fabric breathes better than a coated surface over a long meeting, and a light neutral hides far more than a saturated color does. Underneath the upholstery this is a fully adjustable working chair: pneumatic seat height, a locking recline and tilt tension control let each person set it for their own build. The five star caster base keeps people moving freely around a conference table, and the fixed arm height clears most standard table aprons. Keilhauer manufactures in Toronto and holds level certification under the BIFMA e3 sustainability standard across its seating lines.
