Hon Motivate Used Stool, Red
Hon built the Motivate line to be the seating you can put anywhere and stop worrying about. The stool version takes the same one piece flex back shell up to bar height on a slim four leg frame. It has become a default choice for cafes, break rooms, training rooms, huddle counters, school and university commons and standing height work benches, largely because it takes abuse, cleans in seconds and stacks out of the way when a room needs to change.
This pre-owned Motivate stool has a bright red molded polypropylene shell and a platinum finished steel four leg frame with a full perimeter foot rail. The shell is a single piece with the seat and back molded together and a wide horizontal handhold cut through the lower back, which is what you grab when you carry it. Black glide caps finish the leg ends. The stool is molded polymer and steel throughout.
With a seat height of 29.5 inches this is a bar height stool, sized for a standard 41 to 43 inch counter or bar top. The back shell has real flex engineered into the polymer, so it gives when you lean back, which is what makes a stool people stay on through a full shift. The nonporous shell wipes clean with a damp cloth and sheds spills, which is why this chair ends up in food service areas so often.
