Herman Miller Setu Used Side Chair, Blue
Setu is the Herman Miller chair that removed the controls instead of adding more. Studio 7.5 worked out that a pair of spring steel ribbons in the back could respond to a person’s weight and posture on their own, which made tension knobs and back stops unnecessary. This is the armed side chair on a base that holds its place, the version that goes around conference tables, into training rooms, into reception areas, and alongside desks as guest seating.
This pre-owned unit wears a deep blue Lyris suspension set into a black shell, with black loop arms and a four star aluminum base. The weave runs as one uninterrupted surface from the front of the seat up over the top of the back, so there is no seam and no upholstered edge to wear. Blue is one of the colors that lets a room of otherwise neutral furniture pick up some character, and the black frame keeps the look grounded and deliberate.
The behavior is the same across the family and it is what people notice.
