Herman Miller Setu Used Mesh Stool, Khaki
The Setu stool takes Studio 7.5’s design for Herman Miller up to counter height without adding a single lever. Everything that makes the Setu chair work is here, including the spring steel Kinematic Spine that flexes with your posture on its own, but the column is longer and a foot ring is built in. It is a natural fit for standing height benches, cafe counters, reception desks, labs and kitchen islands in an office, where people perch, work and get up again.
This pre-owned stool is finished in khaki, an olive toned suspension weave, over a white frame with white loop arms and a light gray five star base on casters. A gray foot ring is fixed to the column at rest height. As with every Setu, the seat and back are one continuous piece of Lyris suspension, so the surface flexes with you from the front of the seat all the way to the top of the back.
Setu’s appeal at counter height is that it works correctly the moment the next person sits down. The Kinematic Spine handles the recline automatically, the suspension spreads pressure evenly across the surface, and the open weave breathes. Pneumatic height adjustment is the one control, and the sculpted lip at the top of the back gives you something to grab when you move the stool. The result is a stool people settle into for real stretches of work.
