The Dory is a single seat fabric club chair from Inside Job. Its shape is deliberately simple: a squared, cube-shaped body with wide flat arms and a low back, the kind of lounge seating that reads as calm and stays out of the way. It works in reception areas, waiting rooms, lobbies, breakout corners, and the open floor beside a private office desk.
This chair is upholstered in a dark gray fabric, a heathered woven cloth with a soft, slightly flecked surface that mixes lighter and darker gray yarns. The seat cushion, back panel, and outer arm panels all carry a stitched button-tufted grid, which breaks the broad upholstered planes into a quieter pattern. It stands on four angled legs in a polished chrome finish. The outside back and both outer arm panels are finished in the same fabric, so the chair can sit in the middle of a room or against a wall.
