Q5 pairs fully upholstered geometric volumes with wood surfaces, and the round collaboration table is the piece that ties a Q5 lounge grouping together in a reception area, an open breakout space, a soft seating cluster or a hospitality style waiting room.
This pre-owned Q5 table has a round wood top in a warm natural finish sitting on a conical upholstered base wrapped in charcoal gray woven fabric. The base tapers from a wide floor footprint up to the narrower top, so the table reads as a single sculpted volume rather than a top on legs. The top overhangs the base slightly all the way around, which throws a shadow line at the joint and keeps the wood visually separate from the upholstery below.
At roughly 15 inches high and 28 inches across, this sits at coffee table height, which is where it does its best work. It is low enough to serve a lounge seating group without blocking sight lines and wide enough to actually hold laptops, coffee and documents for two or three people.
