Avalon by goSIT XL Mesh Back Task Chair w Plush Seat, Black

The Avalon by goSIT is an XL task chair tested to BIFMA standards with a 500 pound weight capacity. goSIT builds it for workplaces where seating has to carry real load all day without complaint, which puts it in dispatch centers, control rooms, 24 hour operations, security desks, industrial offices and demanding home offices. The extra capacity is engineered in through a reinforced frame, a wider seat platform and a heavier gauge base.

This new Avalon has a black mesh back with an internal support web visible through the weave, a structural lattice that spreads load evenly across the full backrest. The seat is a double layer plush cushion upholstered in a dark charcoal black fabric, with a thick foam base and a second contoured pad on top that gives it a deep, sofa like sit. The seat is noticeably wide and scooped at the sides. Arm pads are upholstered in matching fabric, and the whole chair sits on a heavy 13.8 inch black nylon five star base with 2.4 inch casters.

Adjustment is the Avalon’s other strength. It carries full 5D arms, so the pads move up and down, forward and back, side to side, pivot in and out, and adjust through an additional axis for fine positioning, which matters a great deal when a chair has to fit a wide range of body sizes. Pneumatic height adjustment and a tilt mechanism with a tension knob under the seat let each user set recline resistance to their own weight. The mesh back keeps air moving during long shifts, and the deep cushioned seat handles the extended sitting that this class of chair is bought for.

National Office Liquidators (NOL) warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below:

The NOL goSIT chair warranty below only covers items that are listed as being under the NOL warranty.

NOL, as defined below, warrants goSIT branded chairs with the following SKUs from nolstore.com on component parts including cylinder, mechanism, base, caster, mesh fabric under normal use for a period of (10) ten years from the date of retail purchase by the original purchaser ("Warranty Period").

All warranties are limited to the original purchaser for normal commercial usage defined as a standard forty hours week by persons weighing 250 lbs or less. This warranty does not cover labor, freight or damages caused by neglect, abuse, misuse, alternations or damage caused during shipment or by fire, flood or other natural disaster.

If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, NOL will either (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished parts, or (2) exchange the product with a product that is like new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product if claim is made up to THIRTY (30) DAYS from original date of purchase.

NOL may request that you replace defective parts with new or refurbished user-installable parts that NOL provides in fulfillment of its warranty obligation. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part that has been installed in accordance with instructions provided by NOL, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or SIXTY (60) DAYS from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes NOL’s property. Parts provided by NOL in fulfillment of its warranty obligation must be used in products for which warranty service is claimed. Any defective hardware piece must be received back into warehouse before ANY replacement or refund will be issued.

This Warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of parts and/or components and applies only under conditions of normal use. goSIT chairs are not to be used for standing upon, arms should not be sat on or used as standing support, nor must the weight loading capacity be exceeded. Any damage to castors, arm pads or gas lifts due to abuse or misuse will invalidate the warranty.

This Limited Warranty does not cover: 1) the purchaser's own fabric; 2) defects caused by improper assembly or dis-assembly; 3) defects occurring after purchase due to product modification, intentional damage, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence or exposure to the elements; 4) cosmetic damage, 5) labor or assembly costs, 6) damage caused by a carrier or transportation of the product from one location to another, and 7) daily usage in excess of a single work shift.

Except as provided herein, NOL makes no other express or implied warranties, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. NOL is limited in its duty and shall have no liability or responsibility to the purchaser or any other person or entity with respect to any liability, loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by use of the product, including, but not limited to, any incidental or consequential damages. The warranty service we provide will only extend to our continental U.S customers (Continental U.S. does not include Puerto Rico, Guam, Alaska, or Hawaii). If you have forwarded the merchandise outside the Continental U.S. the warranty will be void. NOL uses 7-10 business day shipping with FedEx, UPS Ground or semi-truck freight. Delivery across continental U.S. only. (Continental U.S. does not include Puerto Rico, Guam, Alaska, or Hawaii.)
